25km race

today's race is both good n bad... it started off with a bit of rainy day.. not big hot sun.. which is cool... it was a mess/mass start too...well..managed to squeeze pass all the other boats...the test came whn we got out of kallang n into the open waters heading us towards explanade... the water was darn choppy.... having waves as tall as me... i wouldnt have done it without tingyi...to her im grateful for tht...tht i can really chiong waves with her... rowed darn hard... constantly telling myself not to give up...at times i really wanted to jzu slack..bu i saw the way how tingyi faught with the water juz gave me a new determination n new strength to row an extra stroke... we got in 5th out of 7th..nothing really much to be proud of. coach tole me to buck up. even though he smiled whn he said tht .. but his words weighted heavy..
ive given up n i shall surrender....
